ALBATRONICS (Far East) Co, a supplier of audio electronic components and parts, has recorded a 96 per cent jump in attributable profit to $51.6 million for the year ended March 31. Earnings per share came to 32.4 cents, with the company recommending a final dividend of six cents a share. Turnover rose 91 per cent to $1.75 billion from $916 million. Managing director Fukumori Nakahara said the company intended to concentrate its resources on the development of the China market. He said as compact disc technology applications continued to expand, the market potential of China would continue to grow.
