The ''Parents-Child Summer Camp'', organised by Cable Children Channel and World Vision, was open to children between eight and 12 years.
There were 50 participants from 30 families. They were joined by their parents in games aimed at gaining an understanding of the poor living conditions in Rwanda and thus an appreciation of family life. Talks were given by Parent Education Promoters chairman Mrs Susanna Tsoi.
