HOPE you people are avid tennis or swimming fans.
The programmers at Prime Sports think you are for they're having a virtual net and swim-a-thon this week with daily live coverage of the US Open Tennis and the World Swimming Championships.
Pete Sampras (you know, the dude with the big ego and hairy legs) took out last year's US open in convincing style, but this year similar performances have been hard to come by. His shin splints have put the hopples on his recent form.
Well as this is the last Grand Slam event of the year, with a grand purse as huge as the national debt, ''Gorilla'' Sampras and a hoard of other players from concrete jungles around the world, will be on hand for a piece of the action.
Prime has live daily coverage starting tonight at 11 pm. Tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, coverage of the evening's play will begin at 7.30 am with the evening's play being shown at 11 pm.
The 7.30 am time slot will remain unchanged for the rest of the week with coverage on Friday night (our time) commencing at 11.30 pm, Saturday at midnight and next Monday morning from 12.15 am.
Athletes from 139 nations flock to Rome this week, not to raid fashion boutiques or pig-out on pasta, but to take part in the World Swimming Championships.
