November exams open for registration

WITH the results for this summer's GCE and GCSE already out, candidates intending to take the November examination should note the following details: The examination period for the GCE is from November 7 to 18, while that for the GCSE is from November 7 and 28.

A private candidate may sit for the examination if he/she meets either of the following requirements: has sat for the HKCEE or an equivalent examination; or reached the age of 19 on January 1, 1994.

Entry forms may be obtained from the registration centre until Saturday between 9 am and 4.30 pm.

The centre is at the Hong Kong Examinations Authority, San Po Kong Sub-office, 17 Tseuk Luk Street, Kowloon.

Completed forms together with the applicant's Hong Kong identity card and a photocopy of the same (to be affixed to the entry form) must be submitted in person at the centre.

The fee for the GCE Advanced-level subjects is $620 per subject, while that for the GCSE is $460.
