LAWRIE Fownes can get off the mark for the season with Sky Horse in tonight's opening event.

Sky Horse was noted moving very fluently to the line in a recent barrier trial on the all-weather track and he looks to have been found a particularly uncompetitive race by Fownes whose horses have been running well without quite getting their head in front.

Sky Horse was a course and distance winner last season and is arguably ideally suited by Sha Tin's 1,400 metres.

Esteemed is worth keeping tabs on as he is starting for John Moore for the first time while Royal Horse has impressed in his trackwork and could add enormous value to the tierce.
