Chinese All-Stars shock NBA Heroes

THE China All-Stars pulled off a shock 92-88 upset victory over the Nike Heroes led by National Basketball Association stars Alonzo Mourning and Anfernee Hardaway in an incident-packed game in Beijing.

Mourning and Chinese international centre Shan Tao almost came to blows and the controversy continued off the court when the Charlotte Hornets superstar refused to shake hands with the mainland players and officials after the match.

The Heroes - comprising five Americans, two Chinese and a Filipino - fielded only their NBA players throughout the match.
