PACIFIC Andes International Holdings yesterday announced that its public offering of shares was about 5.4 times subscribed. Dealing in the shares and warrants is expected to start on Monday. Under the issue, 70 million shares were offered at $1.38 a share with warrants in the proportion of one warrant for every five shares. The issue was sponsored and managed by Standard Chartered Asia. The underwriters included Lippo Asia, Citicorp International and UBS Securities (Hong Kong). Pacific Andes is a major international supplier of unprocessed and filleted white fish, particularly Alaskan Pollock and cod. The group's key markets include China, North America and Europe.
