Public cargo fees to rise

FEES and charges for the use of Public Cargo Working Areas will go up 10 per cent on November 4, the Government says.

Details of the revised payment schedule, the first rise since September last year, will be gazetted this Friday.

'It's the Government's policy that fees should in general be set at levels sufficient to recover the costs of providing the services,' a government official says.
