PATRICK Wong Tin-yeung was about to throw his Golden Share card away until the librarian at his college persuaded him to change his mind. When he became the winner on the fourth day of the South China Morning Post's stock market game yesterday the first thing he did was thank the woman he knows only as Miss Ip. 'I'm going to treat her and my best friend Parkson to lunch on Monday,' said Mr Wong, 19, a student at the Canadian Overseas Secondary School. 'I have never won anything before and was going to throw the card away. But Miss Ip said I could win $20,000 worth of gold so I kept it. I'm very glad I did. 'I'm going to hire a boat and take my friends out to Sai Kung,' said Mr Wong, who lives with his family in North Point. 'And I may invest in an ice-cream maker and start selling tubs of ice-cream at school. My friends seem to think it would be a good business idea.'
