HONG KONG First Division side Kitchee yesterday turned to Scotland to land a new targetman.
Kitchee have swooped for David McGinlay, recently released by Scottish Highland Leaguers Huntly, with the 24-year-old striker becoming the club's 11th foreign professional.
McGinlay will join his new teammates at a training camp in Thailand next week.
Only eight expats serve Kitchee at the moment - including goalkeeper Sean Lahiff, midfielder Billy Bone, former Rangers forward Steve Raynes and five Thai players - while two Thais will be joining them for the training camp.
Frankwell's Latvian defender Harald Sprogis is likely to be axed without playing a game for the First Division new boys.
Sprogis is still awaiting international clearance from newly-promoted Swedish First Division club Karlskro AIF.
