A MAGISTRATE will consider a waiter's bail application after police complete inquiries regarding the defendant in connection with an alleged conspiracy to kidnap a schoolboy.

  Magistrate Jonathan Acton-Bond said he would reconsider Fong Ka-yan's bail application next time.

  Fong and Wong Fuk-tak, both 19, reappeared in Eastern Court yesterday on one count of conspiracy to kidnap Eddie Wong, 10, on September 26. Wong faces a further murder charge.

  No pleas were taken. Yip Sun-on, 20, and Lui Chun-ngai, 22, who will appear with them on November 2, face the same kidnap charge. Yip faces a murder charge.
