Baring Securities tops Asiamoney poll

BARING Securities has won the Asiamoney magazine poll of top brokers for the fourth straight year, but Jardine Fleming sharply narrowed the winner's lead while climbing to second from third place.

W I Carr and Barclays de Zoete Wedd, last year's second and fourth-placed firms, fell to third and fifth respectively, while S G Warburg climbed to fourth from eighth.
