Shek Chun-tak, 75, has denied five counts of false accounting. He is accused of falsifying coaching fee receipts.

Defence counsel Armand Souyave said Shek complained of chest pains last Wednesday and went to hospital the next day.

Magistrate Judianna Barnes adjourned the case until October 21 and Shek's $15,000 bail was extended.
