THE man or woman in search of durable, top-quality leather footwear, travel bags and accessories need look no further than the territory's Timberland shops.
'Following fads or fashions has never been our philosophy,' Rowena Lam, Timberland's Hong Kong agent, said.
'We adopt an approach that puts timeless, long-lasting appeal as the top priority.' The result is a range of products that have year-round appeal and take into account changes in lifestyles, rather than seasonal trends.
This autumn sees Timberland with a solid collection of classic lines that maintain a unisex look, with some additional ranges that cater towards a return to a more feminine tone for its female customers.
'We now have more prominent designs solely for women, such as a strap around our ladies' shoes. This adds a contemporary feminine touch,' she said.
'The idea has been to create a subtle distinction in the styling which has been carried through from the slimmer cuts of our ladies' clothing.' The famous high-cut leather yellow boots for men and women are still a winter favourite but, this year, darker-toned footwear makes its debut, with black taking more prominence on the Timberland shoe racks.
Comfortable, relaxed styles with flat heels for walking include its world hiker series and new Iditarod gear which has been tried and tested for extreme weather conditions.
