SEATTLE Pride won a war of attrition to short head Our Champion in yesterday's final event at Sha Tin.

Trainer John Moore elected to remove the blinkers from Seattle Pride for his first attempt at a mile and three-year-old duly saw out every metre of the trip.
Winning jockey Brian York said: 'I always thought we had Our Champion covered.
'My horse is really game. He should be able to win again but he isn't any star.' York added that he had to push Seattle Pride along in the early stages to maintain his position just off the speed.
They came strongly into contention as the field swung for home before holding Our Champion's persistent late challenge.
