WITH a haul of three golds, Chow Cheung-ming of Vicwood K. T. Chong Sixth Form College brought glory to his school at the Po Leung Kuk Colleges' 12th Joint Swimming Gala.
Cheung-ming won the Grade A 50 m breaststroke, 100 m breast stroke and 50 m freestyle, setting new records in both breaststroke events.
'I'm happy, but I would have been happier if I had broken the freestyle record too,' he said.
The Form Seven student started serious practice at local swim clubs when he was in Form Four.
'I hope to be able to do something in this field in the future, perhaps get into the Sports Institute.' But Cheung-ming will put commerce above physical education when he applies to tertiary institutions.
'Studies come first, and I'm interested in doing business,' he said.
