Zillionaire will grab cash soon

TRUE to name, Mr Zillionaire looks a potential money-making proposition - and probably in the very near future - for champion trainer Ivan Allan following a top run in the third event.

The four-year-old New Zealand import was at double-figure odds and had not done that much work going into the race, making this second placing to sprinter Profit Taker all the better.

Mr Zillionaire hinted at something better in his final run last season and confirmed that with this run. He had 10 starts in New Zealand before his export but, like so many from that country, can be relied upon to race at his best when four and five.

With four more equitrack meetings planned at Happy Valley before the track closes, connections of Family Of Wah Yuen will surely aim the gelding for one of them. He ran a cracker of a race over a less than suitable 1,030 metres last night and will be hard to oppose over something longer - like 1,400 metres.

That was the sixth race and topweight Top Performance will resume his winning ways shortly. The four-year-old was bidding for his hat-trick and had gone up plenty in the ratings. But he still ran a mighty race when tackling equitrack for the first time and over a trip too short for him. He is a strong bet to win again in Class Three but preferably back at Sha Tin and over the longer sprint there.
