SUM Cheong announced a 26.8 per cent increase in full-year profit to $68.83 million for the year ended June 30. The firm posted gains of $54.29 million in the previous year.

Earnings per share were 71 cents compared with 65 cents the previous year. Turnover was $764.71 million compared with $720.36 million.

A final dividend of 22 cents was declared.
