Not that long ago, Stanley Ho did a Victor Kiam ('I liked it so much I bought the company') and landed himself not a shaver company but rather the Asian franchise for the French ice-cream Glace de France. Now he's coming up with interesting new ways of selling the stuff.
Perhaps it's just early days, or maybe it's the rather premature plunge in temperature, but the Glace de France wasn't exactly setting sales records on the Macau jet-foils Go has been on lately. Ho may well have a remedy for that, though. Apart from buying the franchise, he also set up a factory in Macau and has brought in a French ice-cream expert to experiment with and develop new flavours.
We thoroughly support this pioneering move, in the hope it will lead to Portuguese sausage and codfish salad flavours. Failing that, we humbly submit the following flavour suggestions: rummy and raisin, blackjack cherry, chop and chip cookie.
