CARDINAL John Baptist Wu, Bishop of Hong Kong, is to lead a delegation to China next week.

Cardinal Wu and six other church members will visit Beijing, Wuhan and Xian from next Thursday to November 17 at the invitation of the State Council Religious Affairs Bureau director, Zhang Shengzuo.
The purpose of the visit is to promote friendship and dialogue with the Chinese to facilitate future co-operation and better understanding of the present situation in China.
The delegation includes Vicar-General Father John Tong and the Episcopal Vicar for Social Services, Father John Tsang.
