Renamed Red-X make comeback

AT last! After three years in oblivion veteran local band Red-X have reformed under the name of Crash and will play their official comeback gig in Judgement AD this Tuesday at 9pm.

The boys, who went their separate ways after former lead guitarist Andy Lawrence was killed, have picked up the pieces and been busily rehearsing fresh material with their new line-up.

Tonight: The Jazz Club features jazz-blues singer Maria Muldaur singing a selection of favourites including her hit Midnight At The Oasis. Be there from about 9.30pm.

The new-look Portico will feature Matchbox playing a convincing selection of Beatles material from about 10pm.

Omni The Hong Kong Hotel has flown in Singaporean saxophonist Kuo Po and her band Private Collection for a week of shows, lah.

They play an eclectic mix of jazz, blues and rock and will perform nightly at 6.30pm until Sunday week.
