YOUNGSTER Tam Chi-kin, tipped as a Hong Kong star of the future, set a new record in winning the boys' 13-14 100 metres breaststroke yesterday at the Kowloon Park Indoor Swimming Pool. Sea Lion's Tam clocked one minute and 07.52 seconds in winning the event at the Hong Kong Age Group Championships, breaking his own record of 1:08.98. Alex Fong Lik-sun set two records in the boys' 13-14 age group. He timed 4:53.635 in winning the 400 metres individual medley. South China's Fong also set a record in the 200 metres backstroke, clocking 2:20.58.
