THE Shenzhen B-share market saw a jump in trading yesterday with turnover at HK$12.1 million, led principally by Lizhu which accounted for 69 per cent of market activity. The Credit Lyonnais B-share index slipped 7.49 points, or 0.66 per cent, to close at 1,128.03. The A-share index gained 32.7 points, or 2.82 per cent, to close at 1,193.43. Despite its hectic day, in which $8.31 million worth of shares were traded, Lizhu's price did not change, finishing on $4.30. The other most active stock was Vanke, with $2.35 million in shares traded, but again the stock price remained unchanged, at $5.
