BANQUE Nationale de Paris (BNP) has been given approval to upgrade its Guangzhou representative office to a branch, increasing its branch network in China to three. It also has branches in Shenzhen and Tianjin. BNP has two other offices, in Beijing and Shanghai, and a joint-venture bank in Shanghai called the International Bank of Paris and Shanghai.
