Police launched an investigation after the dead bodies of two Canadian men in their 20s were found in a hotel room in Metropark Hotel in Mong Kok yesterday. Employees of the Waterloo Road hotel found one of the men slumped on the bed and the other man in the bathroom at about 3pm. A packet of white powder was found on a table in the room and there was no sign of a break-in. The pair were declared dead by emergency crews called to the scene. The case was classified as one of 'dead bodies found' and investigations are continuing.
