Corrections & clarifications

In the story yesterday on page A5 'Use of capital punishment may be reduced' on the new rules giving mainland judges the discretion to specify a mandatory minimum prison term for defendants given suspended death sentences, the use of the term 'without parole' was a translation error. It should have been without reduction of sentence due to good behaviour or special contributions made.
