A mainland-born businessman being hunted for the murder of a Chinese family of four in England has been named as Britain's most wanted man.

Du Anxiang has been identified by police as the killer of his former business partner, Helen Chui, her university lecturer husband, Jifeng 'Jeff' Ding, and their two children at their home near Northampton, England.

Hours before the slayings, Du, who was born in Hunan , wrote an apparent suicide note, but officers leading the manhunt believe that was a ruse and he was carrying clothes and money when he disappeared after the killings.

Now the trail has taken detectives to London after a hire car taken from the murder scene was found abandoned in the street - further reinforcing their belief that Du is in hiding in England or has fled to China.

The businessman, who police believe travelled from his home in Coventry to his herbal medicine shop in Birmingham, then on to his victim's luxury detached home in the village of Wooton, has now been listed on the Crimestoppers website as the most wanted man in the United Kingdom.

A mugshot of Du has been uploaded onto the Crimestoppers website, along with a description of the 52-year-old and a rundown of the shocking killings he is accused of clinically carrying out.
