Having just emerged from a stunning multimillion dollar makeover, the 278-room M?venpick Hotel Saigon has been modernised and rejuvenated with a novel aesthetic that is sure to give other hotels a run for their money.
With new food and beverage outlets, a revamped lobby, a slick fitness centre and improved public areas, it is more of a resurrection than a renovation.
Chic touches run throughout the modish property which features a psychedelic illuminated bamboo-edged swimming pool. The guestrooms have a distinct slickness about them, with lively traces of energising orange alongside first-rate fittings and fixtures that include glass partitions, Grohe bathroom equipment and flat-screen televisions.
This slickness continues around the rest of the hotel and into the five dining and beverage outlets. There is a bar, a caf? and an inviting all-day dining restaurant.
The hotel is equally geared up for business, with wireless connectivity and well-equipped function rooms. While the grand ballroom can accommodate 450 people, the board room and three function rooms are suitable for a smaller number.
With a spa yet to be opened and other exciting things under way, the M?venpick Hotel Saigon is a hotel with a difference - a refreshing breath of fresh air in a city steeped in history.
