John Size helped lift Douglas Whyte over the line in the Jockey Challenge with a late double from National Treasure and Real Specialist. Whyte was posted a $1.25 favourite to claim the point-score event, but the South African didn't hit the front until the last stride as he scrambled home to victory by the smallest of margins. 'Real Specialist looked impressive in winning his debut, and he's had a little bit of time between races, so it was a good effort again,' Size said. 'He's done everything right, and although I had planned to turn him out and wait for next term, it was in his best interests to give him a bit more experience today.'
