Achievements 
 Achilles, 17, is a sprinter for the Hong Kong athletics team and Pacers Athletics Club. He was named men's Junior Athlete of the Year 2010 by the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association. Last year, he recorded his personal best time in the 400m at the Xtep HK Junior Age Group Athletic Meet 2010 Round 1, and also broke the Hong Kong age group record there. 
Currently he holds seven age group records. In the latest rankings released in December, he was No. 2 in the junior 400m and No. 3 in the junior 200m.
Achilles is also the captain of his school's athletics team, which came second overall in the 2010/11 Division One Inter-school Athletics Championships (HK Island and Kowloon) in March. He clinched a gold medal in the boys' Grade A 400m, and recently won the BOCHK Outstanding Athlete Award (Athletics) 2010-2011.
 Soundbite
 'Our school won the overall title at the Inter-school Athletics Championships for seven consecutive years,' Achilles says. 
'This year's loss to La Salle College was a blow for me, because I'm captain. But I've already overcome the disappointment. I ran personal bests in the 100m, 200m and 400m events at the All China Junior Athletic Championships earlier this month.
'I'm heading to the IAAF World Youth Athletics Championships in Lille, France, from July 6-10. I will face all the top runners under the age of 17 from around the world. My goal is to reach the later stages of the competition.
'After I get back from France, I'll have a few days' rest before the All China Secondary School Students' Games open on July 15 in Inner Mongolia. My schedule is tight but I don't think I'll be tired.'  
 From his coach
 'Achilles went to a training camp in Guangxi  earlier this year and was instructed by the coach of Guangzhou Asian Games gold medallist Lao Yi,' said Yap Kai-tak, the Pacers Athletics Club coach. 'He's also going to try to qualify for the National City Games in October.' 
 Ambitions
 'Despite my exams, I kept training, so I'm well prepared for my races. I've been training with my 4x100m relay teammates for the All China Secondary School Students' Games and it's been going quite well. I think we can win a medal,' Achilles says.
