Opened back in 2004, W Seoul-Walkerhill was the first W Hotel to debut in Asia. As the brand's first Asian foray - and the second international W destination - the hotel is a stunner, and even by today's standards it is still one of the most well-designed properties in the region.
The eye-catcher sits next to the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill, and the two now make for quite the business destination. W Seoul recently renovated its business facilities with all-inclusive meeting packages on offer.
The hotel is perched on the edge of Mount Acha and, as a result, many of the fiercely stylish rooms provide wonderful views over the Han River. Being a W property, the exceptional location is matched by exceptional design, including features such as a cosy cascading layered bar seating, and pod-like DJ booth and toilets.
The modish detailing runs through to the three well-equipped meeting and conference rooms (2,560 square feet in total). Bringing its signature trendy quirkiness to meetings and conferences, the W 'Sensory Set Up' includes mood music, aromatherapy scents, thought-provoking place cards, retro candies, stress balls, feathers, pebbles and even games. They also offer motivating break-time activities - brief massages, yoga breaks and DJ lessons - to alleviate dullness.
