OK, so you liked the freebie computer - now, tell us about these girlfriend rumours

BlackBerry

TVB star Moses Chan Ho knows how to mess with the media. At the launch event for the BlackBerry tablet device (think a really small portable computer or a really large smartphone), dubbed the Playbook, Chan successfully hawked the product while fending off questions about his rumoured romance with a fellow colleague - TVB actress Aimee Chan Yan-mei.

Chan praised the new device, reciting the brand slogans ('it's ideal for both businesses and individuals') and telling humorous personal anecdotes.

'I took [the Playbook] with me to Brazil a few weeks back and it was perfect for shooting photos and taking care of my computer needs, and it's got a good camera for video calls,' said the 40-year-old with a smirk.

When asked if he used the device to conduct video calls with his rumoured flame, he claimed the online data plans were too expensive.

'Plus, I don't know if I can do that yet,' he added.

The portable multimedia device, which measures 12.7cm x 19.3cm, will be available in Hong Kong from July, according to Urpo Karjalainen, senior vice-president of Research in Motion, the Canadian company behind the BlackBerry brand.

Chan said if RIM was generous enough to give him a second device, he would pass it on to his rumoured flame.
