Park Ji-sung kicks departure rumours into touch as he tells HK fans of dream role playing for United
Manchester United fans in Hong Kong breathed a sigh of relief when Park Ji-sung denied rumours he was leaving the club on a visit to the city.
The South Korean midfielder, 30, was at the Manchester United Restaurant Bar in Tsim Sha Tsui on Thursday to promote the club's DVD of last season.
It has been speculated Park might leave the Premier League champions when his contract expires in June next year.
But he said: 'It would be an honour for me to keep playing for Manchester United. To be able to represent Asian players in England is a dream.'
A large group of fans obstructed traffic on Lock Road as they waited outside the restaurant for their idol.
Park was tired after a morning 'meet and greet' session and an afternoon signing autographs at HMV. He arrived in the city just the night before.
