IN mixed, cautious trading yesterday, investor activity in small to medium-sized listed companies was spread across a wide range of sectors.
H-share Yizheng Chemicals fell 7.5 cents to $2.72 on a share volume of 55.7 million, the 10th largest of the day.
Shanghai Haixing was flat at $1.53 on a volume of 103 million shares, the sixth largest of the day.
Sincere slumped 17 cents, or more than nine per cent, to $1.63 on $3.2 million of turnover.
Shoemaker Nority slipped three cents to 34 cents and South China Holdings fell 10 cents to $1.330.
Emperor (China) also had a bad day, falling 13 cents to $1.77 and ING Beijing fell four cents to 66 cents.
The best-performing stock of the day was Berjaya Holdings, which rose two cents, or 11.76 per cent, to 19 cents. In second place was High Fashion, up 11 cents, or 10.57 per cent, to $1.15.
