HONG KONG international scrum-half Stephen Kidd returns to action for the first time since last month's Asian Rugby Football Tournament for Police's First Division clash today against Valley at Police Boundary Street.
Kidd had been unable to play because of a broken hand, but he is now fit for duty as Police attempt to derail Valley's title bid.
But Police captain Alex Tan knows his side faces a hard task against a Valley outfit who cannot afford any more defeats following their loss to Hong Kong Football Club at the start of the season.
'Obviously we are the underdogs, but we think we can give them a good game,' said Tan.
Valley coach Ian Brownlee said his side are building up to the crunch encounter with Club early next month, which could shape the destiny of the title.
'But the problem is that this will be the first time we play Police this season and we don't really know what we are up against,' said Brownlee.
