I saw a print that was positively cosmic. I'm assuming it was vintage or something, but is there anything I could go buy right now that looks similar?

Cosmic Girl, Borrett Road

The Dictator rules: What does that even mean? Dressing under the influence is never a good idea, dear reader. Luckily for you, fashion does seem to have a few 'cosmic' themes going on at the moment. The most noteworthy came from Christopher Kane's 'Galaxy' prints for his spring-summer collection. If you can still find the best pieces, they will probably be on the sales racks and prices start at about HK$2,900 for a cotton T-shirt (Joyce, Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2523 5944). Ted Baker's 'Shattered Crystal' print sort of gets the look, too, on tops and dresses (HK$1,200 to HK$3,050; Pacific Place, tel: 2918 9609). If you meant star motifs, you can keep it interesting with: whimsical star skirts and dresses at Miu Miu (HK$6,800 to HK$14,750; Pacific Place, tel: 2918 4616); star-spangled heels by Tsumori Chisato (HK$6,450; 53 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2881 1348); and even the cute navy and white star sleeveless jumpsuit for only HK$399 at Zara (Pacific Place, tel: 2918 1099).

Any idea where I can source Agnona suits in Hong Kong? Lane Crawford used to stock them but don't anymore.

Suits Me Fine, Central

The Dictator: The short answer is: not at the moment. Let me explain. The Italian womenswear label, which was founded by Francesco Ilorini Mo in 1953 and bought by the Zegna Group in 1999, is sold exclusively at The Swank (The Landmark, Central, tel: 2868 6990; and Pacific Place, tel: 2736 8567). However, it currently only has outerwear and knitwear on the racks, with more deliveries from the brand's autumn-winter collections arriving in the next month or so. For now, you can stock up on gorgeous long cardigans (HK$9,995), jackets (HK$13,995 to HK$16,995) and luxurious coats (HK$39,995). For the new season, the items come in Agnona's signature muted palette of white, cream, beige and brown, and are made with what the brand calls 'noble fibres', such as cashmere, alpaca, vicuna and mohair. Of course, you could turn to that mega-mall in the ether called the internet. There are some great bargains to be had at Yoox.com, as well as eBay.
