Agent issues buying guide for Scotland

AN ESTATE agent is distributing a guide for Hong Kong residents on buying homes and businesses in Scotland.

Copies of The Scottish Business Market were issued in Hong Kong for the first time this month by Scottish property specialist Connell & Chan.

The November edition lists businesses for sale ranging from a small village store in Fife to a three-star Edinburgh hotel. Post offices and guesthouses are among the other concerns available. English businesses will be covered in later issues.

The company decided to distribute the newsletter in Hong Kong in response to a growing number of inquiries from potential emigrants in the territory looking for overseas business opportunities.
