Bouquets all round as celebrities find time for the opening of new Swiss watch boutique
Countless elaborate bouquets of flowers lined Hanoi Road when Watches of Switzerland opened its swanky new boutique in Tsim Sha Tsui's K11 Art Mall.
The new boutique stocks a wide range of luxury watches and jewellery from the country that does it best.
The opening ceremony on Tuesday included a traditional Chinese lion dance followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Standing by with scissors in hands were Canto-pop star Andy Hui Chi-on and model Lynn Xiong Dailin, who helped cut the ribbon, then raised their glasses as the crowd cheered.
A delicate fragrance exuding from the exotic flowers lingered in the air as guests mingled and enjoyed the tasty canapes. Also present at the event was model-actress and yoga instructor Almen Wong Pui-ha, dressed in an off-the-shoulder leopard-print jumpsuit and wearing a beautiful, leather-strapped watch with a gold dial.
Talking about her taste in timepieces, she said: 'I always like watches that are quite simple, more unisex because, for a lady, I've got quite a big frame. So I always like big-sized watches... something with a chronograph.' She especially likes the first Breitling chronograph watch that she got.
It's quite possible it won't be her last appearance at the watch shop.
