Kate Tsang Yee-ki (left), a financial planning manager at Hang Seng Bank, has been winning awards since her university days. She was recognised as an outstanding financial management planner in a competition held by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and was promoted from trainee to her current position after only a year. She talks with Wong Yat-hei about her career so far.
What is your academic background?
I took up BBA in marketing at the City University of Hong Kong. I had the opportunity to study at Syracuse University in New York and to work as an intern at General Electric.
What does your job entail?
The most important aspect of my job is to understand customers within a short period of time, and then provide professional financial plans that fit each client.
