Nowadays we see lots of people using smartphones, as they play games, chat with friends, and listen to music.
For me, smartphones are convenient tools for communication and entertainment. For instance, when doing my homework, I don't need to check a dictionary for new vocabulary. I can browse the internet instantaneously and get what I need. These are huge benefits that can help me with my studies.
Unfortunately, people misuse this brilliant technology. From time to time, I see people holding their phones no matter what they are doing, where they are and who they are with. When I have lunch with my friends, I would like to chat with them in a relaxing atmosphere.
But some of them just keep staring at their phones, playing games or checking out new apps. Some of my classmates even do it during lessons!
Although smartphones can be very useful, we need to make sure we do not become slaves to them.
