Lenovo Group is a step closer to taking over Medion after completing its share purchase deal with the firm's biggest stakeholder, Gerd Brachmann. Lenovo chairman Liu Chuanzhi said in an exchange filing that 57.560 million of the company's ordinary shares and Euro179.448 million (HK$2.01 billion) in cash were paid to Brachmann to secure a 51.89 per cent stake in Medion.
