TVB actress Linda Chung Ka-yan has struck gold recently with her performance as the teacher Miss Koo in the hit TVB series Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir!. Not only is she a front runner to be named best actress at TVB's annual awards, but even companies she's a spokeswoman for are playing off the role.
Chung was on location in Happy Valley shooting a new commercial for tissue brand Zenses on Monday. This is her second year as spokeswoman for the brand, and while previous commercials featured the 27-year-old former Miss Hong Kong doing all sorts of physical activity, then pulling out tissues to freshen up, this year's campaign sees Chung acting opposite a young child - playing the role of a professor.
As for the TVB awards, Chung dismissed the notion she was the favourite.
'I'm honoured just to be nominated, I think Myolie [Wu Hang-yee] has the best chance to win,' she said.
Chung and Wu are filming a new series, Yue Fu Hidden Dragon, so there's a good chance that someone from that cast will be celebrating.
