A picture is worth a thousand words, so imagine the stories unfolding before your eyes at the 23rd Festival Visa Pour l'Image - Perpignan 2011, which is held in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France. The International Festival of Photojournalism, which starts today and runs till September 11 in Perpignan, is a unique event exhibiting work from around world. The festival brings together kindred spirits who share a love and passion for telling a story visually. The anthologies of the work of photographers on show cover a gamut of topics from wars, nature, the environment, people, religious issues and social phenomena.
