Ben Hwa Wholesale sales director, Taiwan Threadneedle Investments Hwa has 23 years of financial experience, mainly in Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has held a number of roles in wholesale sales and private banking, including executive vice-president of capital securities and head of sales at Baring SICE (Taiwan). Bhuvnesh Singh Head of equity research, India Barclays Capital Singh has responsibility for establishing and developing the equity research business. He joins from Credit Suisse where he was most recently regional head of infrastructure and capital goods and co-head of global IT services in equity research. C.K. Lam Director of engineering and projects The Excelsior Lam is a Chartered Engineer and brings more than 25 years of experience to the hotel. In his new role, he will also lead energy and environmental management initiatives. Lam was previously director of engineering at the Kowloon Shangri-La. Stewart Aldcroft Managing director, investor services Citigroup Based in Hong Kong, Aldcroft joins Citi from enhanced investment products where he was head of business development for beta products since May last year. He has been in Hong Kong since 1985 and in that time has worked at HSBC, Schroders, Franklin Templeton, Investec and Horizon21. Anne Luke Managing director, head of client solutions, Asia Barclays Wealth Luke will drive the origination, structuring and delivery of private investment banking solutions. Based in Singapore, Luke's career has spanned more than 20 years in private banking, investment banking and in private legal practice. Thomas Man Partner, China Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe An accomplished mainland corporate lawyer, Man will focus on inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions and complex cross-border transactions. He received his JD from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington. Brad Herrold Of counsel Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe With more than 20 years of experience in the mainland market, Herrold comes to Orrick from Hogan Lovells. He has a JD from Golden Gate University Law School and a bachelor's degree from Clark University. He worked in private business in Beijing for many years before becoming a commercial lawyer. Veronica Lockyer Of counsel, Shanghai Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe Lockyer works on regulatory and transactional matters, covering antitrust, data privacy and other important emerging issues on the mainland market. She will also provide support for Chinese clients investing in Europe. Miranda Huang Wholesale sales manager, Taiwan Threadneedle Investments Huang joins from ANZ Financial Planning Group where she was an investment consultant manager. Before this she was with UBS Asset Manager, Taiwan. She has nine years of experience in the high-net- worth sector, private banking and bancassurance.
