Residents of the Finchley district of north London have all the advantages that come with being close to the heart of the city, yet surrounded by green, open parks and a wealth of opportunities for recreation and leisure.
'Everything radiates from your doorstep,' says Richard Teoh, sales director for Hamptons International (HK), describing the brand-new N2 London apartments, which his firm is launching exclusively for buyers in Asia. 'The development is within easy reach of three underground stations and the A406 North Circular road provides easy access to east and west London.'
Taking just one example, the regular services from nearby East Finchley station, which is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line, make it simple to reach key points around the city. Trips to the main line rail hub at Euston take, on average, no more than 16 minutes, and it is possible to be in Leicester Square at the heart of the West End in a little more than 20 minutes.
Getting to the City's 'Square Mile', one of the world's major centres for trade, banking and finance, takes little more than 25 minutes. Connections to all the shopping, entertainment and cultural attractions are similarly fast and efficient.
However, life in London is not all about maintaining the hectic pace of work, study, meetings or commitments. Time and space are also needed to relax and, figuratively speaking, get away from it all.
'Offering that contrast, the N2 London development has numerous parks, woodland areas and the vast expanse of Hampstead Heath within a two-mile radius,' Teoh says. 'A huge range of leisure and entertainment facilities are also readily available.'
