The height of fashion
High-waisted skirts have been all the rage in Hong Kong - it doesn't hurt that  they're universally flattering.  
The shops have been meeting Hong Kong's demand for these classic pieces  which have been flying off the shelves. 
Pair yours with a T-shirt or tank top, depending on how high-waisted your skirt is - but be sure to tuck it in neatly. Wear it to a party, to an internship or to hang out.  It's perfect anywhere. It's definitely a versatile piece  - so have fun with it. 
H&M, Pull & Bear and Cotton On have been stocking their own take on this season's trend. If you're looking for a slightly cheaper alternative - around HK$50 cheap - then go to Argle Centre  in Mong Kok. Fashion doesn't have to make you broke.
Making an entrance
 The bare-chested male models on the door at brand new store Hollister are just for openers!  Some are even rating it  the coolest boutique in Hong Kong. 
Inside, the lights are low and  filled with vintage-style casual wear.  From hoodies to yoga leggings, you will want to  put them all on your wish list. You can find gorgeous 70s-inspired dresses  for parties, cute tops and girly skirts for the beach,  and skinny jeans to lengthen your legs and give you perfect curves.

Eye-popping sale 
 Shocking pink or orange - or any other colour for that matter so long as it's bright and bold - seems to be the 'now' colour.  So if you still don't have anything sharp in your wardrobe,  catch the final summer discounts at  The Notice where there is a  selection of flashy items designed in-house or imported from South Korea.

 I am ... a very weird and cheerful person. I try very hard to be different to others and end up finding myself being funny. I laugh and eat a lot. It keeps me healthy!
 I smell like ... fresh-baked cookies and  shampoo. Or sometimes I smell like roses (that's probably the Crabtree & Evelyn  scent). I love roses!
 I shop ... everywhere! But Bershka  is my all-time-favourite. Their designs are creative and cheerful, and the music in the shop is thrilling. In shoe land, I like Maud Frizon. As for accessories, I make my own.
 I don't ... really have a favourite designer, but  there are lots I respect; Vera Wang,  Giles Deacon,  John Galliano  - they're unique, and each of them has their own principles and definitions of fashion and designs. They surprise me every time. I wish to meet them in person one day!
 I love ... party dresses in shocking pink, blue and green. But what you will find in my wardrobe are pretty simple basics: black and white, dark blue, grey and brown, as I feel comfortable in those colours.
