Travelling film buffs will be interested to know that tomorrow marks the publication of World Film Locations guides to London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Featuring obscure oldies as well as modern blockbusters, the guides aim to 'explore and reveal the relationship between the city and cinema by using a predominantly visual approach inspired by The Big Picture magazine's 'On Location' feature'. IPad users can get the app from the App Store (search worldfilmlocation) and download either the London, Los Angeles or New York book's contents free of charge. Despite Big Brotherly calls, such as the one pictured in this propaganda poster, to 'defend socialism with science and technology', North Korea's Air Koryo remains the only flag carrier in the world not to have an official website. It has, however, recently acquired a Facebook page. It's a rare excursion into international public relations for the hermit kingdom, and is surprising for its frankness and good-natured banter with visitors. Most of what's on offer comprises route updates and photographs of Air Koryo planes, but the comments section has some lively and apparently uncensored discussion about the quality of the airline and its on-board service.
