SHUN Shing Holdings has said that the group has been awarded a $450 million contract by the Hong Kong Housing Authority to construct five residential blocks and other facilities at Tin Shui Wai in the New Territories.

The public housing estate project, when completed in March 1997, will provide 2,567 rental units.

The 28-month contract covers the construction of three 39-storey Harmony I residential blocks and two 16-storey Harmony annex blocks.

The contract also includes the building of all associated drainage and external works including roads, pavings, hard landscaping, pools, sitting and play areas, covered walkways and services.
