As much as you love your hot pants and summer dresses, it is time to get the winter wardrobe organised. So say hello to new arrivals - this is the hipsters' mantra, at least. The fashion pack was out in force on Monday at Assaggio Trattoria Italiano restaurant at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in Wan Chai to check out the latest collection of Japanese brand A.T by Atsuro Tayama. Guests wrapped up in cosy knits and tweed capes for the event. Never mind that it was 25 degrees Celsius outside; it is autumn-winter if the fashion mob says so. As they sipped bubbly, guests were also given lollipop-shaped balloons, which perfectly echoed the brand's cute look and feel for the cooler months. Canto-pop idol Miriam Yeung Chin-wah was there on the lookout for ideas to revamp her wardrobe, but not that of her husband, Real Ting Chi-ko. 'I sometimes shop for him, but I don't think he really likes it,' the singer said. 'He enjoys having me as a shopping buddy, but he's quite picky with clothes, even picker than I am.' 'I once bought him a really nice top [and] he thought it made him look fat. So I now wear it as a one-piece dress.' This is another sign that dressing in boyfriend's clothes might be big trend this season.
