 Ah, Post-It notes - those yellow sticky pieces of paper you can scribble on to remind yourself of things you must do. Turns out those notes can have funky uses. 
Workers in Paris have launched a 'war' by using the colourful notes to create cartoon characters and other images on office windows all over the city. Homer Simpson, Spongebob Squarepants and Super Mario all have their Post-It avatars.

 Steve Jobs, new iPhone, Apple news conference
 Sadly, Steve Jobs passed away on Wednesday after a long battle  with cancer. Yet his Apple lives on. The company has just announced the latest addition to its iPhone family. Apple's recently appointed CEO Tim Cook has unveiled the iPhone 4S - despite wild internet rumours about a new iPhone 5 in the pipeline. 
Looking very much like the iPhone 4, the 4S has a faster processor for quicker webpage load times, an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting 1080p high-definition videos, and Siri, a talking virtual personal assistant who can send texts and set reminders for you as you dictate them. It's an upgrade all right, but devoted Apple fans will still be waiting for iPhone  5.
 Twitter trends
 There are Justin Bieber haters and then there are some really crazy Justin Bieber haters. 
The latter have created a Facebook group threatening to kill the Biebs at his concert in Peru scheduled for October 17. 
His legion of fans will have none of that. They have taken to Twitter to plead with the Canadian teen idol to cancel his visit to the South American country for the sake of his safety.
